Rhubella Ann Harper, 79, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Wednesday evening, March 15, 2023, at her home. Rhubella was born February 24, 1944, in Jasper, Missouri, the daughter of John Harper and Velta (Porter) Harper Crane. She was a 1962 graduate of Jasper High School. She was an insurance claims representative for BMA for 30 years until her retirement, and then worked for GEHA until her second retirement. Rhubella was very passionate about her cooking and loved collecting recipes.
Survivors include two sisters, Toni Swingle, Carthage, Missouri, and Kaye Kaderly (Jake “J.C.”), Jasper, Missouri; three nephews, Jacob “J.C.” Kaderly, Joplin, Missouri, James Kaderly (Rachanda), Jasper, Missouri, and Charles Kaderly, Jasper, Missouri; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Harper; mother, Velta Crane; and a niece, Mitsy McDonald.
