STOCKTON, Mo. — “People are enjoying high cattle prices and the 105th SW MO All Breeds Performance Tested Bull Sale was no different,” says Patrick Davis, MU Extension Livestock Field Specialist. A total of 26 bulls sold for an average price of $5,458 per bull. This average was approximately $1,200 higher per bull than the fall 2024 sale average and over $1,600 higher per bull than the spring 2024 sale average. The 23 Angus bulls sold for an average price of $5,530 per bull and the 3 Gelbvieh/Balancer bulls sold for an average price of $4,900 per bull.
“New and old Angus bull consigners topped the sale,” says Davis. New consigner Segraves Angus of Mulberry Grove, IL had the top selling bull at $11,000 that sold to Paradox Farms of Bolivar, MO. Longtime consigner Blue Mound Angus of El Dorado Springs, MO had the second highest selling bull at $10,000 that sold to Martin Harman of Walnut Grove, MO.
“Witt Cattle of Eldorado Springs, MO had the 3 Gelbvieh/Balancer consignments,” says Davis. The consignments sold for an average price of $4,900 per bull with a range of $4,800 to $5,000 per bull.
