Carthage resident, Lizbeth Anne Reeder, 74 years old, passed peacefully in her home February 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beth Anne was born in Carthage, Missouri in 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sally Reeder. Over the past 15 years, Beth Anne has resided in the home with her brother, Louis (Buddy) Harris who has been her main caregiver. Buddy recently passed away as well on March 28, 2022. Beth Anne’s hobbies included knitting, coloring, sticker books, and spending time with her family. Beth Anne worked briefly outside of the home at the Sheltered Workshop and Wendy’s. Beth Anne also enjoyed volunteering during the holidays ringing the bell for Salvation Army.
Beth Anne is survived by her nieces, Laurie Dunn of Carthage, Missouri and Dina Butcher of Kansas City, Missouri and cousins Tom Reeder of Webb City, Mike Reeder of Jasper, Missouri, Phil and David Reeder both of Webb City, Missouri and Vernon Geisel of Neosho, Missouri.
Beth Anne was a loving aunt, sister and daughter and she will be greatly missed by her family.
Graveside services will be held for Beth Anne 9 am April 30 at Friends Cemetery in Purcell, Missouri. She will be laid to rest with her parents, Kenneth and Sally Reeder.
