John G. Hensley, 75 passed away Jan. 19, 2020, in Carthage, Mo.
John was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Carthage to Jollie Hensley and Martha Mae (White) Hensley. He was a lifetime Carthage resident and was a Mechanical Engineer for Leggett and Platt where he retired. He was a member of the AF & AM Lodge # 2590 and active in the Little League for several years.
John is survived by three sons: Jamie Hensley and wife Michelle of Joplin, Mo., Joseph Hensley and wife Jenny of Waco, Texas, and Chris Hensley and wife Christy of Diamond, Mo.; six grandchildren: Christopher, Carter, Clay, Marley, Katie and Drew, one great-grandchild: Rowan; and two brothers: Danny Hensley and wife Stephanie of Carthage and Mike Hensley and wife Cindy of Covington Georgia.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
