Barbara Jean (Giles) Pitcock, 81, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020, in an auto accident near Carthage.
Barbara was born August 2, 1939, in Des Moines, IA to Meryl and Lucille Giles. She was a longtime Carthage resident and formerly owned and operated a bar outside of Carthage prior to retirement.
Barbara was united in marriage to Delmer Moore and George Pitcock. At the time of her passing, her fiancée “Forest” Ron Smith survives.
Barbara is survived by one daughter, Roxanna Moore and one granddaughter, Athena Marrujo, both of Wheat Ridge, CO; one grandson, Shawn Moore of Carthage, MO.
The body has been taken for cremation and private family services will be held at a later date.
