CARTHAGE, Mo. — Karter Manzer, a 3rd grader at Mark Twain in Carthage, is a proud Tom Brady fan.

Last week leading up to the Super Bowl the school held Chiefs Spirit Week. As can be expected in the heart of Chief’s country, Karter was the only one that wore Brady gear all week instead of the Chiefs. The school even posted a picture of Karter on their Facebook page in his Brady jersey during spirit week with the text “Old man Brady stopped by the school this week. He said that he’s going to try his hardest to help the Chiefs win the Super Bowl!”

Karter would have the last laugh as his mother, Melanie, said her son was wearing his jersey proudly Sunday as Tamp Bay defeated the Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV.

Karter had all his outfits laid out Sunday night for the school week, however, the weather had a different plan as school has been canceled the last three days due to inclement weather, leaving Karter unable to show off his Brady and Gronkowski jerseys.

Karter is also #12 for the Carthage 3rd grade football team. He scored 16 touchdowns in his first season of tackle football in 2020.
