Carthage Community Foundation Fall Grant Round Now Open

CARTHAGE, Mo. — Carthage Community Foundation began accepting applications for its fall grant round on Friday, August 26. Area 501(c)3 organizations and other IRS approved entities, such as civic, education or faith-based groups, serving the Carthage area, are eligible to apply. Grant application may be found online at https://www.cfozarks.org/affiliates/carthage.  All applications must be completed and submitted online by 11:45 pm on September 15.

CCF has interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs. Areas of funding focus include

1 – Health & Human Services, 2 – Education & Youth Services, 3 – Arts, Culture, History & Community Beautification, and 4 – Food & Nutrition. CCF prefers to provide grants for one-time initiatives and capital/equipment purchases, however, the Board will also consider operating expenses if a strong case is made for special circumstances. Total amount one applicant may request is $5,000.

Grant announcements are expected in mid-October.
