Genealogy Problem Solving (Program)
7:00 pm
OGS Library, 534 W. Catalpa St.., Springfield, MO and Zoom for OGS members
This three-part series will use a genealogy problem identifying a distant ancestor to demonstrate the types of resources and methodologies applicable to any research question. Audience participation is expected. Each session will begin with the known information which—in this case—includes DNA test results. Attendees will analyze the known information and brainstorm logical next steps in a research plan. Before the next meeting, participants are welcome to follow through with those research steps and report their findings for the known-information portion of the next meeting. Discussion by Patti Lee Hobbs, Certified Genealogist.
Attendance Options: In person at the The OGS Library, 534 W. Catalpa St., Springfield, Missouri, and OGS members will receive a Zoom link by email or find the link at ozarksgs.org. Members must login for access.
