Richard Vernon Jones, 75, of Jasper Missouri passed away peacefully on June 26, 2023 surrounded by family.
“Satch” as he was known to loved ones was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Jasper where he stayed. Satch worked at D&D Sexton for many years and enjoyed spending time at Stockton Lake with family and friends.
Satch was predeceased by his mother Anne, father Robert and granddaughter Chloe. He is survived by his children Erryn Jones, Taylor Jones, Josh (Shannon) Butcher, siblings Geraldine Jones, Bob Jones, Royce Jones, Greg Jones, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A short graveside service will be held at 6:00 on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Waters Cemetery followed by a backyard reception at his home (201 S. 1st St, Jasper MO). We request all who knew Satch to please join us as we celebrate and remember his life.
