Pauletta Jean Keller, 91, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, the one she bragged about so long, on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Carthage.  Pauletta was born September 8, 1929 in Carthage to Paul and Daisy (Palone) Sanders.  She was a teacher’s aide in the Carthage R-9 School District and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage.  Pauletta was a farm girl, proud of her Cherokee heritage, painted rocks, wrote poetry and loved to sing. Pauletta is survived by two sons, Kevin Keller of Carthage and Kirk Keller (Heather) of Palm Coast, FL; two daughters, Kenda Yust (Brian) of Seneca and Kris Vinson (Gary) of Joplin; 10 grandchildren, Kendrick Snyder (Deborah) of California, Cassie Keller of Joplin, Jacqueline Ford (Jake) of Ohio, Cherokee Miller (Kyle) of Carthage, Elijah Vinson (Hailey) of Carthage, Mac Yust of Kentucky, Hampton Yust of Joplin, Curtis Keller of Neosho, Nathanael Vinson (Bri) of Carthage and Kaitlin Stacy (Bryan) of Neosho, along with six great-grandchildren.
