Delores Ann Still, age 84, Carthage, Missouri, passed away early Saturday morning, October 12, 2019 at her home with family by her side.
Delores was born March 19, 1935 in Carthage, Missouri to the late John Kreighbaum and Clara B. (Eddy) Kreighbaum. She married Harvey Still on August 9, 1953 in Carthage, Missouri; he preceded her in death on November 2, 2011. She was a member of the Avilla Baptist Church, Avilla, Missouri. Delores loved making crafts and attending vacation bible school, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Lacey (husband Robert), Carthage, and Beverly Doubledee (husband Micheal), Joplin, Missouri; two sons, Larry Still (wife Marsha), Carthage, and Harold Still (wife Linda), Carthage; the sister of her heart, Lucille Lawrence (husband Milton), Carthage; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and sixty-nine foster children.
She was also preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held 6-7 pm, Monday, October 14, 2019 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 10 am, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Knell Mortuary. Interment will follow the service in Paradise Cemetery, Jasper, Missouri. Memorial gifts are suggested to Avilla Baptist Church, Avilla, in care of Knell Mortuary.
