Bradley Porter “Brad” Cameron, 78, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Tuesday evening, December 28, 2021, at his home.
Brad was born October 19, 1943, in Elk City, Oklahoma, the son of the late Turner Cameron and Irene (Warden) Cameron. He was a 1961 graduate of Carthage High School. He was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Brad married Dana Fesler on February 11, 1977, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; she preceded him in death on August 14, 2012. He was the municipal judge in Carthage from 1980-2017 and was also a professor at Pittsburg State University. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage. Brad was an avid football fan and loved the Kansas City Chiefs and Oklahoma University Sooners.
Survivors include two sons, Bret Cameron and Blake Cameron, both of Carthage; a granddaughter, Ivy Cameron, Independence, Missouri; and many extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, January 7, 2022, at Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage. Inurnment will follow in the Grace Church Columbarium.
