Barbara E. Calvin, 80, passed away June 17, 2019 in Carthage, MO. Barbara was born January 3, 1939 in Piedmont, MO to Clarence Cline and Rella Parker Cline. Barbara moved from the Piedmont Missouri Area to the Blake Community three miles east of Avilla. She attended Blake schools, Blake Church and later graduated from Sarcoxie High School Class of 1956. She had various jobs in the community over the years, but her favorite job was Grandma. Barbara was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
Barbara was united in marriage to Herman Calvin July 14, 1956; he survives.
Barbara is survived by one son, Bill Calvin and wife Candy of Reeds, MO; one daughter-in-law, Kim Calvin of El Dorado Springs, MO; three grandchildren, Anna (Amos) Letts, Jessica Calvin and Larin (John) Burns; six great grandchildren, Aiden, Alexis, Dayton, Darren, Lucy and Macoy.
Barbara is preceded in death by one son, Gray Calvin; one granddaughter, Katie Calvin; two sisters, Mary Ipock, and Helen Alshire; three brothers, Roderick Cline, Buck Cline and Darrell Cline.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
