Annie Lee Hood, 89, passed away September 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Carthage. Annie was born July 15, 1929 in Carthage to Arthur and Cuma “Wigger” Monroe. Annie was a longtime secretary at Leggett & Platt and a member of Fairview Christian Church.
Annie was united in marriage to Bill Hood; he preceded her in death.
Annie is survived by two nephews, Matthew Monroe and Charlie Schwalls.
Annie was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer Latshaw, Art Monroe and Neal Monroe; two sisters, Lille Schwalls and Harriett Tweedy.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
