CARTHAGE, Mo. – The Jasper County University of Missouri Extension Center now has Missouri Department of Conservation order forms for seedling trees and shrubs.  Since 1947 the George O. White State Forest Nursery has offered Missouri residents seedlings for reforestation, windbreaks, erosion control and wildlife habitat. Prices range from $0.34 to $1.00 per seedling plus sales tax and handling.  Price for each species is listed on the order form.  It also outlines the ordering procedure.

There are three ways to order: internet, mail or fax. Although orders are accepted from September 1, 2023 through April 13, 2024, some species sell out quickly. Order online or check availability at mdc.mo.gov/seedlings.

You may have your trees shipped to you, or you may pick them up at the George O. White State Forest Nursery near Licking, MO.
