Two Carthage teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 7:07 a.m. Sunday, July 4, 2021, on Highway E, four miles east of Carthage.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2005 Honda Odyssey driven by a 15-year-old boy traveled off the right side of the roadway, then traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The boy and a passenger, also a 15-year-old boy were transported by ambulance and treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

The names of the boys were being withheld as they are both juveniles.
