Jasper County Commissioners Announce Carthage Courthouse Roof Upgrade Project

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Jasper County Commissioners are pleased to announce a major roof upgrade project for the historic Carthage Courthouse, which was built in 1895, reinforcing the County’s commitment to preserving one of its most treasured landmarks while ensuring its continued service to residents for generations to come.

The project will be completed by Mayberry Construction Company, Inc. in partnership with TAMKO Building Products LLC. The planned improvements will enhance the courthouse’s structural integrity, appearance, and long-term performance while respecting the building’s historic character and architectural significance.

“The Carthage Courthouse stands as a symbol of Jasper County’s history, heritage, and commitment to public service,” said the Jasper County Commissioners. “These improvements represent an investment in preserving this iconic building while ensuring it remains a functional and welcoming center of county government. We are honored to partner with TAMKO on this project.”

Mayberry Construction will oversee the renovation and construction efforts, working closely with TAMKO Building Products LLC to incorporate quality building materials and proven construction expertise throughout the project. Mayberry is a certified TAMKO Pro Diamond Certified Roofing Contractor.

Project work is expected to begin this month, and estimated duration is approximately 5 – 6 weeks. Additional details regarding construction schedules will be provided as they become available.
