Linden “Linny” Andrews

Linden Carroll Andrews (“Linny”) was born on November 1, 2022, in Joplin, Missouri, to Jacob and Hannah (Dodson) Andrews. Linny passed away May 8, 2026 in Kansas City, Missouri, leaving behind a family and community who will forever cherish her memory and the time with her that the Lord gave to them.

She had an active personality and determined spirit, and she loved being a big sister to her younger brother, Roy. Her days were mostly spent at home with her parents, where she loved playing outside, working on crafts and puzzles, helping her mom bake, tagging along on trips into town for groceries, and especially taking special trips to Bass Pro Shops just to see the animals. Her sweet smile and laugh left an impact everywhere she went, and she will be so very missed by her family and friends.

She was a precious daughter, a beloved sister, and a treasured granddaughter whose life, though short, was filled with meaning and deep affection. She is survived by her parents, Jacob and Hannah Andrews, and her brother, Roy Andrews. She is also lovingly remembered by her maternal grandparents, Wes and Tracy Dodson, and her paternal grandparents, Clint and Anne Andrews. In addition, Linny leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who held her close in their hearts and will continue to remember her with love. Her family longs for the day when they will soon be reunited with her in the presence of the Lord. Until then, her family will treasure the moments they shared with her and the joy she brought into their lives.

Memorial services will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Carthage, Missouri. A private burial was held at Fasken Cemetery, Carthage. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Choices Medical Services in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
