Leroy Wayne Ritchie, 64, of Spring, Texas passed away of complications from pneumonia on the evening of February 17th, 2021 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas. We will miss his wisdom, care and sense of humor. Wayne was a loving husband, father and grandfather who never hesitated to help others or carry their burdens. He was always fixing something, and he always enjoyed meeting new people and sharing his experience with them.

Wayne was born in Carthage, Missouri to Leroy Ritchie and Betty (Dixon) Ritchie on July 16th, 1956. He went to Carthage High School and graduated in 1974. A short time later, he met his wife and lifelong best friend, Jackie. Wayne was always involved in some aspect of the construction industry, started several successful businesses and most recently had been working as the President of AECSI, a construction and mechanical contracting company in Spring, Texas for the past ten years. In his free time, he enjoyed home-improvement projects, spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren at the park or in the pool.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Ritchie of Spring, Texas, his children, Jason and Mary Ritchie, Nicholas and Kathryn Ritchie, and Darrell and Hollie Grubb, his siblings Doug and Glenda Millikan and Doug and Jackie Ritchie as well as 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and sixteen grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Betty Ritchie.
