Foust takes top individual honors, Lady Tiger golf places 2nd overall at CJ Invitational

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — The Lady Tiger Golf Team was on the road today for the Carl Junction Invitational at Briarbrook Country Club.

Junior Addie Foust led the Tigers with an even par 72 to claim top individual honors.

The lady Tigers carded a 393, which was good enough for second place out of eight teams total. Carthage finished just five shots behind host Carl Junction’s 388 top team score.

Behind Foust, the Tigers’ Bella Holmes shot a 103, Molly Comer recorded a 106, Braeli Hoover finished with a 112 and Milana DeCrescenzo carded a 113.

“This group has come a long way in the past year with a few excellent additions,” Carthage Head Golf Coach Jamie Newman said. “The fruits of that work are being showcased as they continue to improve in each of these tournaments.”

The Lady Tigers travel to Ozark Thursday for the Ozark Invitational and then return home Sept. 23 for the 16th Annual eCarthage Invitational.
