Ronnie D Lee, Olathe, Kansas, passed away on May 23, 2023, at age 61 surrounded by his family. Ronnie was born on September 8, 1961 in Carthage to Kenneth Lee and Zelma Marie Lee.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Pam Lee of Olathe, KS and his 7 children, Sarah, Emily, Melanie, Megan, Mandy, Josh, and Kristi. Ronnie was also blessed with 20 grandchildren. Ronnie loved his children and grandchildren so much. They were the purpose and joy of his life. Ronnie is also survived by his mother Zelma Marie Lee, his siblings, Roger, Karen, Scott, Brent, Twyla and Russell. He was preceded in death by his dad Kenneth Lee, his brother Randy Lee and his sister Karla (Lee) Baublitz. 

Ronnie grew up in Reeds, MO, spending his early years hauling hay with his brothers or logging with his Dad. He always had lots of stories and good memories of those times. He had many professions in his life from driving a truck, working at the Carthage Underground to eventually settling at Aldi grocery store as a manager. While working at Aldi he met the love of his life Pam. He and Pam married September 26, 1992. Opportunities with Aldi took them to Springdale Arkansas and they eventually ended up in Olathe Kansas where they resided for the last 26 years.

In his spare time Ronnie loved watching his daughters play softball. He was also a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and you could always find him watching a football game. Ronnie prided himself on helping others. You could usually find him fixing something, trimming trees, or building something. Ronnie also spent a lot of time with his dogs who were his best friends. His was preceded in death by Paxton, his miniature schnauzer. Paxton would often times be found riding around in a basket on Ronnie’s lawnmower. He is survived by his Muzzy, his other miniature schnauzer, who he loved very much.  

Cremation services are being provided by Mid States Cremation in Lenexa, Kansas. Graveside services will be at Avilla Cemetery, Avilla, Missouri on June 24, 2023 at 11:00 am with a lunch following at Harvest Community Church in Avilla.
