Marjorie Lee “Margie” Randall, 88, Carthage, Missouri, passed away early Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her home. Margie was born November 10, 1933, in Jasper County, Missouri, the daughter of Ray Dodson and Alva (Arnold) Dodson. She married Pete Randall on March 10, 1951, in Bentonville, Arkansas, he preceded her in death on March 20, 2015. Margie and Pete owned and operated Randall’s Market and the Korner Drive in Restaurant in 1961 in Carthage. After selling the business she worked at Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio. Margie loved being and working outside, being around family especially the grand and great grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, David Randall (Becci), Carthage, Missouri; a daughter, Connie Randall, Joplin, Missouri; six grandchildren, Cassidi Pereira (Jorge), Todd Greene (Claudia), Kyle Babbitt (Nancy), D.J. Randall (Addie), Maranda Huntley (Ryan), and Abi Randall; seven great-grandchildren, Jozlon Randall, Katlyn Huntley, Hailey Pereira, Dylan Huntley, Grady Huntley, Nicholas Pereira, Mariana Greene, Sergio Greene, and Maiah Williams; and two sisters Bonnie Arnold, and Sue Ehnen.
She was also preceded in death by 9 siblings.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday April 20, 2022, at the Knell Mortuary. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
