Emma Gutierrez, 74, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Emma was born on August 25, 1949, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Samuel Gutierrez and Berta Alburez. Emma was a homemaker and a member of the Casa de Dios Church in Carthage.
Emma leaves behind three sons, Hector Gutierrez, Alex Gutierrez, and Sergio Gutierrez; and one daughter, Roxana Lopez.
She will have a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Services will be at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Emmanuel Church. The burial will be at Park Cemetery on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
