Clyde Junior Barton, 76 of Carthage MO passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021. Clyde was born on March 26, 1945, in Ally Springs, MO to George and Effie (Younger) Barton.
He had a passion for the love of God, spending time with family and friends, horses, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Barton and Effie Younger, Son Clyde Eric, granddaughter Kimberly R Cera, brother’s Walter, Shelby, Floyd ‘Tee’, Lloyd, Claude, Lendell, and sister’s Edith Gall, Louise Grandstaff, Genevieve ‘Gen’ Patterson, and Ruby Jewel Barton.
Clyde leaves behind his wife Carolyn R ‘Lindsey’ Barton, son Carl & wife Crystal, son Calvin & wife Tammy, daughter Denise Cera, daughter Kelly Tilley, and daughter Sheila & husband Eric Vonholten. His 15 Grandkids, 14 great-grandkids, brother Glen, sister Betty Cook, sister Edna & Everett Cain, sister-in-law Geraldine (Walter), sister-in-law Betty (Floyd), and countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Ulmer Funeral Home May 4, 2021, from 6-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Ulmer Funeral Home Carthage MO. Burial will be at Dudenville Cemetery near Golden City MO.
