Birl Denton Pruitt, 78, of Carthage died Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born December 21, 1945 in Carthage. Son of Birl and Myrtle (Allen) Pruitt.
He worked 32 years for Schreiber Cheese.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gilbert Pruitt. Children: Randy (Amy) Pruitt, Brian (Amy) Talley, Susan (Steve) Reddy, and Kevin (Rachel) Fierro. 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Leonard Pruitt, sisters Wilma Miller and Mildred Pruitt. Also one son Steve Fierro.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
