Alford Paris Taylor

Alford Paris Taylor, 78, Jasper, MO, passed away Monday evening, October 8, 2018. Alford was born May 16, 1940 to the late Paul H. Taylor and Edna V. (Page) Taylor. Alford enjoyed working with his hands, tinkering with and fixing anything he could. He also loved planting gardens, fishing, and was very mechanically inclined. He worked as a farmer his whole life.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Lynn (Jimmy), Carthage, MO, and Terry Taffner, Jasper, MO; one son, Timothy Paris Taylor, Carthage, MO; one brother, Richard “Dick” Taylor (Fern), Joplin, MO; six grandchildren, Anthony Taylor, Chris Hayes, Jennifer Hayes, Laura Abbott, Aaron Garrett, and Shellie Kerr; twenty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held 12-1 pm, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Jasper Christian Church, Jasper, MO. Memorial services will follow at 1 pm. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
