OCH Jasper County Clinic adds additional pain management services

A new doctor in Carthage will mean more access to important medical services for patients needing pain management treatments.

Dr. Charles Cantrell, who specializes in interventional pain management, is now seeing patients in Carthage at OCH’s Jasper County Clinic. The clinic is at 327 East Airport Drive in Carthage, and appointments can be made by calling 417-237-0604. The clinic is now open Monday through Friday.

Dr. Cantrell is a board-certified general anesthesiologist who offers a procedure-based approach designed specifically for each patient. These procedures include a variety of epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation.

“Chronic pain is one of the most challenging things to deal with, and Dr. Cantrell is passionate about helping people who are struggling with chronic pain,” said Colton Holland, OCH’s clinic manager in Carthage. “His presence in Carthage will allow us to expand our services, which will benefit our community.”

Dr. Cantrell is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists.
