Carthage McDonald’s Manager Pinnell receives prestigious global award

CARTHAGE, Mo. – Shaundra Pinnell, Manager of the Carthage McDonald’s Restaurant located at 1111 W. Central, has won a Ray Kroc Award, an accolade that recognizes the top performing McDonald’s Restaurant Managers globally.

Pinnell was one of 390 McDonald’s Restaurant Managers around the world, from 60 markets, (representing the top 1% percent of restaurant managers) to receive the honor, which includes a cash prize and a trophy.

Pinnell who has been working for McDonald’s for 15 years, was presented with her award at W. Central McDonald’s by McDonald’s Owner/Operators Shane and Kara Campbell.

“I was honored to receive this award, especially in a year that was so difficult. I attribute my successes to my team and supervisor that helped keep my spirits high and motivated throughout the pandemic.” Said McDonald’s Ray Kroc Award Winner, Shaundra Pinnell. “I hope my customers know too; they are also a huge contributing factor to me receiving this award. Each day I strive to not let them down.”

McDonald’s independent franchisees and regional management nominate restaurant managers for the Ray Kroc Awards to recognize those who have led their team to outstanding business performance, reflect the culture and values of the McDonald’s System, and reinforce McDonald’s purpose to feed and foster communities.

Despite a pandemic she improved every aspect of her store and cares about her people and customers.” Said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Shane Campbell. “We’re delighted that we are able to recognize Shaundra in this way for her commitment to McDonald’s.”
