Auditions for Man of La Mancha Written by Dale Wasserman, Music by Mitch Leigh, and Lyrics by Joe Darion will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, February 15 & 16, 2022 at 7:00 pm at Joplin Little Theatre, 3009 West First Street, Joplin, Missouri. The production will be co-directed by Marilyn Bouldin and Chet Fritz. The directors are looking for a cast of 20 men and 9 women of various ages.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and a prepared song of your choice which demonstrates your vocal ability.
Man of La Mancha, based on Cervantes’ novel, Don Quixote, is a remarkable, poignant, moving musical. Set in the context of the Spanish Inquisition, it is presented as a play-within-a-play about a dying old man who refuses to relinquish his ideals.
“The Impossible Dream” is included in the score.
Performance dates are March 23 – 27, 2022.

Senior Citizen/Student – $15.00
