The Carthage Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 2022 Biz Expo-Discover the 4-States. This will be held at the CRM Auditorium, 1900 Grand Avenue, Carthage Missouri on May 11th from 5 pm-8 pm and May 12th from 9 am-2 pm.
“This is a great way for businesses to showcase their products to those that are coming to the Expo that will utilize their services,” said Julie Reams, President of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce. “For those that will be attending the Expo they may also have the opportunity to win a $100 Carthage Chamber Community Gift Certificate by visiting all the vendors in attendance,” added Reams.
This is a new gift certificate program that the Chamber has available for those looking for a gift, employee incentive, or any other special occasion. Local merchants accept these gift certificates and recipients may redeem these in participating Chamber member businesses. “These gift certificates may be purchased in any amount at the Chamber and we have a list where those can be redeemed and the list keeps growing. These certificates certainly help keep the “Shop Local” campaign, that we have, going all year,” said Reams. The U.S. Small Business Association and the U.S. Department of Labor report that for every $100 spent $68 of that stays local. “We certainly encourage our shop local campaign not just for a season but all year round. It’s important to our businesses and also to our City as a whole to keep our local dollars in our community,” added Reams “this gift certificate program will certainly help with that.”
