Sandra Sue Giseburt, 70, Carthage, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at her home. Sandra was born Sept. 4, 1949, in Bethany, Mo., to the late Billy Gene Giseburt and Gloria Jean (Wray) Giseburt. She worked as a paraprofessional for the Carthage R-9 School District.
Sandi was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she had many close friends that she considered family. She was also quite passionate about her job, as she truly loved every student and colleague that she worked with and would talk endlessly about the fun times they had together.
Sandi had many other interests, including music, singing, genealogy, her beloved pets, and spending time with her close friends. She was also a lifelong learner and had a deep appreciation for intellectual political discussions. She was generous and kind to all that knew her.
Survivors include two nieces, Amanda Bisig and Jennifer Baker; three nephews, Brian Moss, John Moss, and Ryan Seippel; a stepbrother, Richard Bradford; and many extended family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her loving parents and two sisters, Beverly Moss and Cheryl Seippel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Carthage Humane Society in care of Knell Mortuary.
