CARTHAGE, Mo. — A Carthage boy was injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:44 p.m. today on MO 96 a mile and a half east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Lincoln MKX driven by Delaina F. Taylor, 25, Carthage, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by James A. Proctor, 59, Ozark.

Proctor and a passenger in his vehicle, Cynthia K. Proctor, 57, Ozark, were treated for serious and moderate injuries, respectively at Mercy Joplin.

A passenger in the Taylor vehicle, a 3-year-old boy, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
