CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carthage Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 2nd Annual Ugly Sweater Office Contest on Friday, December 15th. This coincides with National Ugly Sweater Day, held annually on the third Friday in December. Local businesses and companies are encouraged to take a group photo, post it on Facebook, and tag the Carthage Chamber of Commerce to be eligible to win a pizza party donated by Domino’s Pizza in Carthage.
“This is a great way for our Chamber members to get into the holiday spirit and have some fun in their office,” said Julie Reams, President of the Carthage Chamber. “We had a lot of fun last year and can’t wait to see our Chamber member’s ugliest sweaters this year; this is such a fun event,” she added.
To get a sneak peek of individuals wearing their ugly sweaters before they head to work, the Chamber is hosting a Chamber Coffee Holiday Open House beginning at 8 am on December 15th. Co-hosting with the Chamber includes Maria Sanchez 1% Lists SWMO & Experience Carthage.
“We couldn’t do what we do without our members and their wonderful support. We want to thank our members for a great 2023 and look forward to an even more successful 2024,” added Reams.
