Charles Cornelius Mead, 59, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2022 in Carthage, Missouri. Charles was born November 28, 1962 in Springfield, Missouri to Alford Mead and Alice Fisher. Charles was a longtime resident of Carthage, Missouri. He had worked at the Sheltered Workshop and Innovative Industries. Charles enjoyed coffee at Java Joes, raising his fish at home, shopping and getting out-and-about.
Charles is survived by one brother, James Mead and his wife, Claudine of Carthage, Missouri; three sisters, Labaka Mead, Karen Mead and Pena Potter; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Alice Mead.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by his family.
