Mercy and the Jasper County Health Department both recently opened appointments for all Missouri residents eligible for COVID-19 vaccines to schedule to receive shots. The Pfiser Vaccine is available to people over the age of 12 and Moderna is available for adults only. All Missouri residents over the age of 12 are eligible for the free COVID -19 vaccination program at any facility administering vaccines. Background: | Mercy has appointments and walk-in vaccinations available to all eligible people, including for those 12 years and older. While supply is available, walk-ins will be accepted on Wednesday and Friday. These are first-dose Pfizer vaccinations only. The state of Missouri also recently lifted the residency requirement, meaning even those who live in neighboring states can schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at mercy.net/vaccine, or get one by walk-in. |
