Hacker, David, Sarah, Skyla and myself would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the overwhelming support the community has shown our families over the past few weeks as we brought back The Carthage Press.
We want to thank the amazing team that trusts in our vision and continues to go above and beyond to ensure that we meet our goals while we still have a weekly publication deadline!! We could not do this without each and every one of you and are thankful to have you apart of our team!
Publishing a weekly newspaper that is FREE and is mailed to over 10,000 Carthage residents and another 1,000 in surrounding communities could be classified as “crazy” because of the amount of time, energy and money it takes to accomplish this task!! But the level of support from local businesses, long time Carthage families and friends has proven that we can continue to make this a success!!
However, I have decided that we need to locate a long-term home for The Carthage Press and RH Media Group. We have more than outgrown David and Sarah’s dining room and home office.
As a team we feel that it is extremely important to be on the square and in the heart of Carthage. While we do not need a large amount of space we would like a few offices and an open area for desks/work spaces. We believe in the longevity of The Carthage Press and our vision that we are looking to either purchase or try to get a long-term lease.
We have amazing families, friends and supporters that I think together we can put in some work to revitalize the perfect space.
So we ask that you spread the word and please pass along any thoughts or ideas that you might have or that we should look into.
