Zachary Alan Jones, 31, passed away June 7, 2020. He was born June 29, 1988, in Joplin, MO.
Zachary was a lifetime Carthage resident and worked for Jasper Products. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Carthage.
Zachary was united in marriage to Savanna Shumny November 15, 2008, in Carthage; she survives.
Zachary is survived by his mother, Fontella “Tunnell” Smith; step-father, William Smith, of Carl Junction; father, Michael Jones; step-mother, Sherri Jones of Carthage; two daughters, Layla Anne Jones and Lucy Malynn Jones; one son, Lucas Michael Jones, all of the home; two sisters, Cassandra Jones and Carli Jones; two brothers, Kyle Hartman (Crystal) of Carthage and Michael Jones II (Amber) of Rice Lake, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Mt. Moriah Methodist Church north of Carthage.
