Lowell Davis passed peacefully at his home in Red Oak II on November 2, 2020, with his wife, Rose, and son Aaron, by his side. The sweet scent of roses entered the room as he breathed his last.
Lowell is deeply loved by his family and community. Thousands of people across the world have traveled Route 66 and have encountered Lowell and his creation, Red Oak II, along the way. He always made time to give others his full attention, tell them a story on his porch, and enlighten them with his witty sense of humor. Lowell was an unequaled visionary, artist, father, and one of the kindest people on earth. His love for the Lord is unquestionable and his life reflected the love and creativity of his Heavenly Father.
He will be greatly missed by his community and his family. He leaves behind a great legacy of people and unparalleled creative works. His service to his country as an airman in the United States Air Force will not be forgotten.
