Loren Ray Jones, Sr., age 65, of Carthage, Mo., passed on into Eternal Life, early Wednesday morning, June 3, 2020, surrounded by his family at the Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo.
Loren was born on April 29, 1955, in Pomona, CA. He met the love of his life, Julia Aschenbrener on July 11, 1988, and married her on June 22, 1996, in Carthage, Mo. He is survived by his wife Julia, his son Loren Ray Jr.; Jeremy and Jennifer Jones; grandchildren, Quentin and Mia; and three sisters, Pamela Manners, Shanon and Sharon Jones; and Christine Coswatte. Loren was also proceeded in death by his parents Ralph Jones and Norma Smith, and a sister, Collette Higgins. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend.
Loren was a truck driver for Lew Thompson and retired on March 31, 2020. He loved riding motorcycles and was loved by everyone that knew him. Loren had been seeking God and accepted the Lord on May 13, 2020.
