Jimmie D. Collins, 59, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, with his family by his side. Jimmie was born April 23, 1961, in Kansas City, MO to Dean and Alice (Bollin) Collins. He was a longtime resident of the Osceola, MO area and an owner/operator with Redbird Carriers for over ten years. Jimmie was a hunting and fishing enthusiast. He loved the outdoors and was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Jimmie is survived by his sweetheart and love of his life, Brenda Collins.
Jimmie is also survived by one son, Jimmie D. Collins, Jr. and wife Nikki of Webb City; one daughter, April Collins-Graham and husband Brandon of Pittsburg, KS; one sister, Deanna Carpenter of Independence, MO; two grandchildren, Alexxiz Graham and Haylee Graham.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kevin Collins; and one sister, Kimberly Collins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Ulmer Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Mount Washington Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
