Mr. Floyd Ray Graham, 95, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Floyd was born on December 5, 1925, in rural Lawrence County, Missouri to the union of the late Lee Roy and Pansy (Shaffer) Graham. He attended school in LaRussell, Missouri and later worked on the railroad and had his own milk route. On September 14, 1946 he was united in marriage to Catherine Chandler in Columbus, Kansas. Together they shared seventy-four years. They moved to Lebanon, Oregon where jobs were more plentiful. In 1953 they moved back to Missouri and Floyd joined the Carthage Fire Department, retiring twenty-five years later. During that time he owned several laundromats, a frame shop and two muffler shops. Floyd was a member of Sarcoxie United Methodist Church. He enjoyed music as well as helping maintain the church repairs when needed. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Maxine Stiles.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Catherine, of the home; daughters, Patsy Johnson and fiancé, Terry Neer, of Mooresville, Indiana and Barbara Judge and husband, Doug, of Westfield, Indiana; two grandchildren, Mark Hutchins and Angela Huecker and husband, Eddie; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Huecker, Alex Huecker and Christian Huecker; niece, Wanda Lindsey; nephews, Robert Stiles and Lynn Stiles; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Graham are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Sarcoxie will Pastor James Yost officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sarcoxie Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Bill Chandler, Mike Chandler, Doug Judge, Terry Neer, Ed Huecker, Mark Hutchins, Christian Huecker and Alex Huecker; honorary pallbearers are John Chandler, Rick Lindsey, Lonnie Robertson, David Robertson, Carl Lee Robertson and Dale Robertson. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Sarcoxie United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
