Enlow Killman, 75, Carthage, MO, passed away Saturday evening, September 15, 2018 at his home. Enlow Killman was born December 17, 1942 in Marionville, MO to the late David Killman and Lillian (Tharp) Killman. He worked in machine maintenance for Steadley Manufacturing in Carthage, MO. Enlow married Montez Klingensmith on November 25,1992; she preceded him in death on May 31, 2017. Enlow was a school crossing guard for Columbian Elementary, loved the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed traveling and hunting, and most of all, spending time with his grandkids and family.
Survivors include four daughters, Karen Hensley (Jim), Longview, TX, Susan Hackney (Michael), Longmont, CO, Denise Thompson, Carthage, MO, and Debbie Bowman (Jim), Clovis, NM; two sons, Samuel Killman, Sr. (Jeana), Carthage, MO, and Douglas Thompson, Colorado Springs, CO; three brothers, Lonnie Killman, Eugene Killman, and Kenny Killman; two sisters, Carolyn Lawson and Ruth Rogers; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three sons, Danny Thompson, Donnie Thompson, and Roger Killman.
Visitation will be held 6-7 pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Knell Mortuary. Pastor Larry Winfree will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Park Cemetery, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to Disabled American Veterans in care of Knell Mortuary.
