Earl M. Hair, 77, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Landmark Hospital in Joplin.
Earl was born July 2, 1943, in Berryville, AR to Roy and Ruth “Smith” Hair. He resided in Port Isabel, TX before moving to Carthage a year ago. Earl worked for the Norfolk & Southern Railroad for over 30 years. His leisure hours were filled with archery, fishing and especially bowling.
Earl is survived by one daughter, Leah Mosby of Kansas City, MO; one son, Robert “Bob” Hair of Kansas City, MO; three sisters, Shirley Smith of Carthage, Wanda Warren of Berryville, AR and Lucinda Wolfe of Eureka Springs, AR; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Ann Hoffman and Edna Lou Jones.
An open visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
