Dr. Erick D. Studyvin, 34, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Carl Junction, Missouri. Erick was born December 7, 1988, in Joplin, Missouri to Douglas Studyvin and Tracy Campbell.
Erick grew up in Carthage, Missouri. He graduated from Carthage High School in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Southern State University in 2011. He later moved to New York City to attend New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated Valedictorian of his medical school class in 2016. He was a Podiatrist in the southwest Missouri area.
Erick was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cavanaugh Greenwood on October 6, 2011, in Carthage, Missouri; she survives. They have three fur babies, Darwin, Dan, and Daisy, that he loved very much.
Erick is survived by his wife, Cavanaugh Studyvin, of Carl Junction, Missouri; his parents. Douglas and Tracy Studyvin of Carthage, Missouri; two brothers, Chad Studyvin and Taye Witherspoon of Carthage, Missouri; aunts, Tabitha Wood and Cheryl Jones; uncles, Gary Campbell, Jaime Campbell, Ben Campbell, Kevin Campbell; and honorary uncles, Curt Kester and Robert McConnell.
Erick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Studyvin, and Arline Richardson.
