Brady Grant Bridges, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on April 6, 2024.

Brady was born on September 28, 1989, in Joplin, Missouri, to Mark and Carlene (Knight) Bridges.

Brady graduated from Carthage High School in 2008. He attended Missouri Southern State University and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Business Education. He earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2020. Brady taught school in the Neosho, Carthage, and Webb City school districts.

Brady was united in marriage to the love of his life, Beth Bridges, on May 23, 2009. She survives. To their union, two children were born, Hattie and Grant Bridges.

Brady was a devoted husband and a loving father. He was the funniest person in any room he entered. Brady made everyone he met smile with his quick wit and charm. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs, wood-working, taking care of his family, and chicken wings. Brady took considerable care of others, and he was always willing to help his friends and family.

Brady is survived by his wife, Beth, and his children, Hattie and Grant Bridges. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Carlene Bridges, and his maternal grandparents, William and Donna Knight. Brady is also survived by his three brothers Colby (Brittany) Bridges, Adam (Shelly) Bridges, and Drew (Morgan) Bridges, his in-laws, Larry and Becky Scholes, and brothers-in-law, Brad (Kelly) Scholes and Hunter Scholes. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as a multitude of friends and former students.

Brady was a committed Christian and an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Carthage, Missouri.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 PM. The service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Crossroads Baptist Church at 4:00 PM.

Contributions may be made to the Brady Bridges’ College Fund (for Hattie and Grant) in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
