Bonnie Anderson, of Grove, Okla., passed away April 8, 2020, at the age of 73 in Springfield, Mo.
Bonnie was born in Carthage, Mo., on Oct. 20, 1946, to Ed and Melva Meyers. She graduated from Carthage High School then attended Joplin Business School and later completed her Associates degree at Rogers State College before working 26 years at Northeast Area Vo-Tech Center in Afton, Okla.
Having retired in June of 2019, Bonnie loved nothing more than shopping for special surprise packages for her two darling granddaughters and her four nieces and nephew. When you got a package from BB or Aunt B, you knew it was going to make you smile. Bonnie enjoyed a wonderful circle of friends, her Bridge Sisters, and visiting her son Troy Anderson, wife Jennifer, and granddaughters Paige and Dylan in Tampa, Florida, son Bret Anderson in Phoenix, Arizona, and sister Kathy Kunze and husband Dave in Springfield, Mo.
Bonnie will be missed for her big heart, her cards, her packages, her love-taken too soon. In lieu of services, there will be a Celebration of Life in Grove, Okla., after the COVID-19 quarantine and a Celebration of Life at Table Rock Lake with her family.
