Agnes Waisner (Aggie) 85 passed away October 12, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing home Carthage, Missouri. Agnes was born October 23, 1936, in Carthage, MO to Joe Curry Sr. and Olga Princess Harp Curry. She lived in Monett and Green Bay and returned to the Carthage area in 1987. She worked as a telephone operator in her younger years and worked at Schreiber foods where she met her husband. Agnes was a member of the First Christian Church of Carthage.
Agnes was united in marriage to Myrdith Waisner (Myrt) in 1957 he preceded her in death in 2005.
Agnes is survived by one daughter Karen Barrett of Battle Creek, MI, two sons Brian Waisner and Steve Waisner both of Carthage, nine grandchildren Lindsay Shores, Kirstyn Kollmeyer, Jacob Waisner, Malachi Barrett, Matthew Barrett, Kendra Waisner, Brittany Keeler, Maccabee Barrett and Jedidiah Barrett, nine great-grandchildren Lucas, Malachi, Adalais, Ryley, Angela, Gabriel, Alexis, Praise, Kendrick.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters Alice Owens, and Pat Houston, Four brothers Joe Curry Jr., Albert Curry, Gerald Curry and Everette Curry.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Carthage Humane Society or St. Luke’s Nursing home in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
