A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 12:04 a.m. Wednesday on I-44 five miles southeast of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Volkswagen Passat driven by Amber N. Buckmaster-Clark, 42, Carthage, swerved to miss another vehicle, traveled off the left side of the road and struck the median cable.
Buckmaster-Clark was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
