Carthage woman injured in accident on Fir Road

CARTHAGE, Mo. — A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:30 p.m. Friday on Fir Road a half mile east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Toyota 4Runner driven by a 22-year-old Carthage woman drove off the right side of the road, struck a bridge rail and overturned.

The driver was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
