CARTHAGE, Mo. — Crowder College and Carthage Technical Center have entered into a partnership to streamline and enhance nursing education opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals in the Southwest Missouri region. This partnership creates an articulation agreement aimed at developing a seamless transition for students from the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Carthage Technical Center to the Registered Nurse (RN) program at Crowder College.

Under this agreement, students who meet the specific academic criteria may be eligible for reserved spots within Crowder College’s RN program upon successfully completing the Carthage Technical Center LPN program.

Sandra Wilson, Director of Nursing for Crowder College, shared the following “Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse licensure are ideal pathways for students to enter healthcare. Students working toward an Associate Degree in Nursing are able to work as Licensed Practical Nurses serving healthcare facilities as they serve our communities while they are in school.
